House Dream 5/31/2020

I woke up in my mom's previous house.  I bought the house.  Not sure why I bought the house.  My children were going to school in a different school district.  I opened the bathroom door to tell my husband that we should either sell the house or rent it because we still owned our other house.

When I opened the door we were in a hospital and my sister in law and brother had a new baby named Fiona.  I looked in my purse for a camera.  I had a lot of cameras that didn't function.  I asked my husband to take pictures with his phone.

Interesting enough my neighbor just adopted a new dog named Fiona.

Birthdays in 2020

This summer my brother will be turning 68.  18 years ago he turned 50.  I called him during my vacation to wish him a happy 50th.  This year I will be turning 50.  Many of my friends are turning 50 this year. At the time my brother turned 50 back in 2002 he had three children.  Now he has three children, a son in law, a daughter in law and three grandchildren. 

I am wondering what the world will look like in 3 years.  In a matter of 5 days we have lost 13,000 more people to this pandemic.  I know my parents were not alive for the last global pandemic around 1918 but I know my grandparents were alive.  I never heard any information about it from them.  What did they do?  How did they survive?  I should look on the family tree and see if there are family members that died around that time and were not around to celebrate their next milestone birthday.
Every day is precious.

Dog Owning Ideas from a Neighbor

Take the dog out at the same time every morning.  Take him to the same spot in the yard. Use a retractable leash.
Use the four hour rule.  Take the dog out every four hours.
He gave his dog a little luncheon meat when making lunches in the morning.
Kibble bowl and water was always available.  Doesn't like putting the dog on a leash around a tree or with a pole in the ground.  Dog's leash can get wrapped around the tree or pole and not let them reach their water bowl.
He put a blanket over the crate and always left the door open.
In the summer he recommends ice in the water bowl to keep the water cool.
Don't scold the dog for going in the house.

As we start Memorial Day weekend the latest death toll is 340,004.  The world's total positive covid cases is 5 million 304 thousand and one.

Souls Lost Due to the Virus

Wow!  303,000 lives lost due to Corona.  I started this blog in March.  In April 200,000 souls were lost now we are up to 303,000 in May.

We Try Not To Dwell On What We Don't Have

I took a walk today and all the azaleas are blooming.  April and May are such pretty months for all the flowers.  The tulips and dog woods have been blooming also. 
I am trying new recipes.  Peanut butter and bacon cookies, anyone?  I also found a recipe for biscuits with mayonnaise in them.
I already voted for the primaries.
I know where all my children are at all times.
Pollution is down.
